Purpose:

To seek approval regarding adoption/land transfer of Higham Way and the traffic management scheme.

Decision:

The Leader of the Council is RECOMMENDED to:

 

(a)               proceed with the adoption process/land transfer;

 

(b)               approve the scheme for delivery in 2012, and

 

(c)               delegate authority to the Deputy Director of Highways and Transport in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Transport *, to deal with any specific matters relating to detailed design.

 

 

*  In the continued absence of the Cabinet Member for Transport any consultation required to deal with any specific matters would be carried out with the Leader of the Council
