Purpose:

The final funding formula for schools and academies for 2016-2017 needs to be formally approved politically before submission to the DfE by 21 January.

Decision:

to confirm approval of the final school funding formula, as agreed at the Schools Forum meeting on 13 January – Option 1 if Secretary of State supports the local authority request, or Option 2 if Secretary of State supports Schools Forum and reduces the DSG contribution to central overheads.
