To note the Council’s treasury management activity and outcomes in 2025/26

Cabinet is RECOMMENDED to:

a)    Note the council’s treasury management activity and outcomes in 2025/26

Cabinet considered the Treasury Management Annual Performance Report for 2025/26 detailing the council’s debt and investment activities. 

Councillor Dan Levy, Cabinet Member for Finance, Property and Transformation presented the report. He stated that all treasury management activity had remained within approved prudential indicators. The Council had reduced external debt, generated strong investment returns and maintained a cautious approach to risk.

Councillor Levy moved and Councillor Gregory seconded the recommendation, and it was approved.

RESOLVED to note the council’s treasury management activity and outcomes in 2025/26.
