One of the objectives of the now closed Business Service Transformation Programme was to make self-service buying processes easier to understand, to reduce purchasing errors by buyers, help manage purchase order imbalances and simplify the invoice approval process.
The roll out of Amazon Business for low value,high volume and ad-hoc spend will reduce fragmented buying and procure Amazon Business through a direct award route and establish the project controls, implementation approach and governance required to deliver the change.
