The current contract expires on 31 March 2028 and contains no extension options, requiring a new contract to be procured to ensure continuity of this critical service. The High-Risk IDVA Service provides specialist advocacy and support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse assessed as being at high risk of serious harm or homicide and is a key component of Oxfordshire’s response to domestic abuse, contributing to the council’s responsibilities under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and wider duties to support and safeguard victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
