20mph speed limit being promoted as part of the Council’s Vision Zero policies.

The Cabinet Member is RECOMMENDED to:

a)    Approve the introduction of a 20mph speed limit within Widford (near Swinbrook), as advertised.

The Chair introduced the item to the meeting.

The Chair noted the support for the proposal from the Parish Council and observed that the scheme would complement the existing 20mph limit in nearby Swinbrook.

The Chair considered that the proposal was consistent with the Council’s Vision Zero objectives

The Chair thanked officers for their work and agreed to the recommendations in the report.

RESOLVED to:

a)    Approve the introduction of a 20mph speed limit within Widford (near Swinbrook), as advertised.
